The Edit Canvas is the interactive workspace where we add elements such as tags, slides, polygons and markers to curated assets. Adding these elements is what makes the pages on the Touchscreen feel ‘alive’ and interactive; resulting in the signature ‘Sensoreal Experience’.

The Dashboard has multiple places where the ‘Edit Canvas’ is used. These locations include:

The look and feel of the canvas is the same across these locations, however the use case differs slightly depending on what we are editing. Pages use Tags and Slides while ‘Live’ section editors use Tags, Markers and Polygons.

This section presents an overview of the Edit Canvas and the Elements used.

Previously, this modal worked and looked differently depending on where it was being used. In a recent update to the dashboard, these modals were unified to present an ‘Edit Canvas’ that has more consistent functionality and styling.


7.1 Canvas Basics

Across all locations where the Edit Canvas is used, the basic interface and functionality is the same (see Figure 7.1.1).

Header/Info Box

Each canvas has a heading/title with a small information icon next to it. Clicking or hovering over this icon will open a panel containing information about canvas functionality and shortcuts for quick reference.

‘Add’ Buttons
